Well the Golden Globes aren’t until January 5, 2020. But, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has already announced the actor who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award this year. And I 100% agree with their choice.
They said the person they chose has captivated audiences for more than three decades with “rich and playful characters,” according to the BBC.
So who is it? None other than national treasure Tom Hanks!
The Cecil B DeMille (Lifetime Achievement) award is given annually to an actor, director or producer (all of them in Hanks’ case) who has made a lasting impact on the film industry.
