Looks like Sam Hunt wasn’t lying when he said new music was coming soon. It’s been about five years since he put out his debut album and while he’s released a single or two since then, no full album.
He said that he was going to head into the studio this summer, and it looks like he did exactly that. A new song called ‘Kinsfolk’ is coming out tomorrow (October 10) at 5 PM ET. But, you can hear a snippet of the song now.
I think it sounds pretty good! Hopefully this means a new album is coming sooner rather than later.
