Tis the season to visit those haunted houses, parks and farms. And boy are there a lot of them. Like A LOT a lot.
But, if you’re down for a little road trip you could visit one (or three) of the highest ranked haunts in the country.
Being from Fort Wayne, I always feel a bit of pride when they get praise for something. But I’m going to be honest, I’ve never heard of Hysterium Haunted Asylum.
Although, upon further review (AKA actually reading the website) it used to be the Haunted Cave which wasn’t scary at all.
In 2014, according to Haunted Attraction Association, it was rebranded. Actors are now taught by a “nationally known acting and make-up specialists, as well as interactive, immersive scenes.” No thank you.
The other two local haunts are a little bit closer to Indy. Fear Fair in Seymour and Stillwell Manor in Anderson also made the list of the top 34 haunted attractions in the US of A.
