I remember how stressful the college admissions process was for me while high school. I wasn’t a great high school student, so my ACT score became pretty essential to making it into a decent college. Well, looks like that could be a thing of the past soon.
According to The Crimson, Harvard will no longer use the SAT or ACT as part of its admissions process, through 2026.
Harvard accepts fewer than 8% of its applicants, so obviously the administration there doesn’t put a lot of stock in standardized testing.
I wonder if that will translate to other colleges in the future?
